When fencing in close or enclosing, or expecially against lefties, beat and parry 6 help a lot, because you can take their blade and reposte in a swift action if you parry 6, or against lefties if you beat 6 and repost hard and fast enough, you leave their whole body open and if you repost fast enough you can score a touch very swiftly.

to beat six, you twist your weapon wrist to the right of your body hard but not recklessly,if you can see the thumb side of your hand, twist so your palm is up and repost by either riding their blade into their arm or shoulder, or going back to where your thumb side is up and lunging, fleshing, etc. into their torso.

to parry 6, you have to have your blade slightly to the left of their blade (from your perspective) and you rotate your elbow (keeping your wrist and forearm one with your elbow) in a capital C shape following it from the bottom of the C to the top, use this when advancing or retreating to get their blade out of the way, and repost by stepping and extending your arm into their body.
